Morning Happy

I got up early to send Madeline off to school this morning.

I was going to have a bowl of cereal, but we were out of milk.
I was going to do my Bible study “homework,” but my book was in Dan’s car.
I was going to clean, but HA HA HA.

So instead, I’m sharing with you all the internet things that made me smile this morning.  I hope that, in your mind, they take you to a quiet, cozy place – with tea – and make you smile really, really big at your computer screen.  And maybe giggle to yourself.  And, if you’re like me, cry tears of happiness.

This orchestra flash mob was beautiful!  Joyful, joyful, indeed.

2.  The man at 4:09 – I did the exact same thing.

This video from Kid President via SoulPancake was not at all what I was expecting.  While it is funny, it is mostly heartwarming and encouraging and beautiful.

“And it hurt, man!  Not cool, Robert Frost!”
“What if there really are two paths?  I want to be on the one that leads to awesome.”
“We were made to be awesome.”

And this little fella, who stole my heart.

Happy Friday, friends!

Thank you for sharing! Nothing like starting off the morning with happy tears, laughter, encouragement, and adorable baby animals :)

On a second look, I’m pretty sure that fox isn’t a baby… But still adorable!

  • Andrea

That orchestral flash mob gave me the chills…and then made me cry when they started singing. Probably b/c I have 9 mo. worth of pregnancy hormones coursing through my body… Regardless- it was beautiful! Thanks for sharing [all of those]. :-)

The coolest thing about Kid President is that I know people who know him, and the little girl who is fighting cancer like a boss is the niece of a good friend of mine from church camp! She was finally released from the hospital to the Ronald McDonald House in Pittsburgh yesterday. :)

Both of the videos are wonderful! I never really post videos on Facebook, but I posted both of these. LOVE!

I have no idea where Sabadell is but now I totally want to go there! Also, my friends and I are now completely addicted to Kid President… !!

Both made me cry. Gracious. So beautiful. :)

So… I thought you were exaggerating a bit with the crying at the flash mob thing, and then I totally lost it! Thanks for the happy tears. And kid president was so sweet and funny. Just what I needed.

These were all adorable and brightened up my day. I’m going to have to look at other kid president videos and I might make the fox picture the backdrop on my computer. But what made me laugh? That was all you Kate. “I was going to clean, but HA HA HA.” Love it. I know I think that all the time. Thanks for making me laugh and I hope your weekend continues in the same fashion. :)

I never used to be a crier, but I must be getting soft. The flash mob made me cry. Yep.
